I am a motivated high school senior at Jurupa Hills High School in Fontana, CA, expected to graduate in 2026. Throughout high school, I have played varsity and junior varsity football, which has helped shape my character and work ethic. Being part of a team taught me the importance of leadership, accountability, discipline, and perseverance, as well as how to communicate effectively with teammates and coaches in high-pressure situations. Football also helped me develop strong time-management skills by balancing academics, practices, games, and personal responsibilities. In addition to athletics, I have earned the Seal of Biliteracy, demonstrating my proficiency in both English and Spanish. Being bilingual has allowed me to communicate with a wider range of people and has strengthened my ability to connect with others in academic, professional, and everyday situations. I take pride in being able to help and communicate with people from different backgrounds. I also work at a barbershop, where I cut hair and provide customer service to clients. Through this experience, I have learned how to interact professionally with customers, listen carefully to their needs, manage appointments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Working in a fast-paced environment has strengthened my communication skills, responsibility, and ability to stay focused while delivering quality service. Overall, my experiences in sports, academics, and work have helped me grow into a responsible, hardworking, and dependable individual. I am motivated to continue improving myself, contributing positively to my school and community, and applying the skills I have learned to future academic and professional opportunities.
